MACTLAC Conference Sept 2024

Ceci had the chance to attend the Midwest Association of Chemistry Teachers at Liberal Arts Colleges (MACTLAC) annual conference at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter Minnesota. The conference was a great opportunity to discuss how to best help our students learn and succeed.

Ceci also got to present a poster on her current work (in collaboration with Tom Kuntzelman) on introducing Python in the pchem classroom through a combo Excel/Python kinetics activity.

For fall 2025, the conference will be in Wisconsin at Carroll University! The following year, the Kalamazoo College Chemistry department will be hosting this conference in the fall of 2026! Stay tuned for more info and we hope to see you there!
