Busy End of Fall Term!

The Vollbrecht lab had a very busy end to the 2024 fall term! Both Maggie and Justin presented at multiple conferences and were making the final edits on their written senior thesis project!
In early November, both Justin and Maggie shared their work at the West Michigan Regional Undergraduate Science Research Conference (WMRUGS) at the Van Andel Institute in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Then, just a few days later, Maggie and Justin both presented at the Bell's Recycle-A-Poster event put on by the local Kalamazoo Section of the American Chemical Society. Overall there was a really good contingent of Kalamazoo College Chemistry & Biochemistry students and faculty present!
Justin then went to the Ohio* Inorganic Weekend hosted by Wayne State Chemistry along with some students from the DAR lab just before finals started. He did a great job talking with a lot of people about his work!
